The Nettles Island Community Action Association is a state registered 501 political action committee.  NICAA is an associate member of the Florida Alliance for Retired Americans.  Our mission statement is to work for the betterment of senior citizens and especially on those issues concerning Nettles Islanders.  We work with and lobby federal, state and county politicians on both sides of the aisle to promote or oppose legislation and laws that impact Nettles Island and Hutchinson Island.

From October through May we hold monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month.  We invite politicians, county commissioners and SLC administrative office holders to speak. 

Anyone on Nettles Island can attend these meetings.  Annual fees for membership are $5.00 and any Nettles Island lot owner is eligible for membership.
